A Father’s Plea from Gaza: Help Me Save My Family
United Kingdom
My name is Waleed Musleh. I am 29 years old, a husband, a father, and a Biomedical Engineering graduate. I once supported my family by running a small mobile phone shop in Gaza—until the war destroyed everything we had.
Today, my family and I are homeless. My shop is gone. My home is rubble. We have no income, no savings, and no safety. I live each day under the open sky with my wife, our one-year-old daughter, and the child we are expecting—my wife is pregnant.
She is suffering from severe malnutrition, as confirmed by doctors. We cannot afford enough food, clean water, or basic medical care. My daughter cries for milk, and I have nothing to give her. I watch my family weaken before my eyes, and I feel utterly powerless.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you—with all the strength I have left—to ask for your help.
I am seeking to raise $40,000 USD to give my family a chance to survive and rebuild. This support would allow me to:
Find safe shelter for my pregnant wife and young child
Provide life-saving food and nutrition for them
Access urgent medical care for my wife and unborn baby
Care for my baby daughter with the dignity she deserves
Begin to rebuild a life of stability and hope for my family
The situation in Gaza is beyond what words can describe. Every day is a fight for survival. Even the most basic human needs are now luxuries. I am not asking for comfort—I am simply asking for the chance to keep my family alive.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing our story. Your voice might reach someone who can help.
From the depths of my heart, thank you to anyone who offers support, a prayer, or solidarity. You are our only light in this darkness.
With sincere gratitude, Waleed Musleh
